Robert Smahl
Vice President of Marketing and Communication

Mr. Smahl oversees all search marketing, customer acquisition and retention programs, and marketing communications initiatives for PriceGrabber.com. Mr. Smahl has over 19 years experience in various direct marketing and management roles in publishing, events and online businesses. He spent over 16 years with Ziff-Davis, where his last role with the company was as Vice President, Audience Development for ZDNet. In this capacity, he was responsible for all customer acquisition and traffic driving programs for ZDNet, the world's leading tech site on the Internet in terms of users at the time, and was a Company Officer and part of the Executive team for the company's successful IPO and eventual sale to CNet for $1.6 billion.
Mr. Smahl holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University at Albany, State University of New York.
