Andy Weatherwax

Global Strategies International
Andy Weatherwax is a founding member of the Global Strategies International (GSI). He oversees and is responsible for all aspects of Web design and development including usability, cognitive and interface design, site development, and email marketing for clients.
Andy began his career as a musician and was an early adapter of MIDI technology. Since 1984, Andy has composed several classical and pop music pieces using MIDI technology, many of which have been aired on radio stations across the Northeast. This early experience in digital media was the stepping-stone to multimedia design as a certified Macromedia developer, and later as a Web developer.
Prior to joining the Global Strategies team, Andy was Vice President of Design and Development for Outrider. He oversaw and was responsible for all aspects of Web design and development including cognitive and interface design, site development, search engine marketing, e-mail marketing and project management. Additionally, Andy defined and was responsible for maintaining the Outrider online services processes.
Andy has spoken at industry conferences on the subject of site usability and has received awards from the Connecticut Ad Club for New Media design and the Software Developers Association for educational software design. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music from the Hartt School of Music.
