Yumio Saneyoshi, senior product manager of Yahoo! Answers, is responsible for leading the product strategy behind Yahoo! Answers – an online community where real people ask and answer questions on any topic. Yumio previously served as a product manager for Yahoo! Japan, where he helped Yahoo! Japan increase its search market share.

Prior to Yahoo!, Yumio was the founder of Plumtree Software Japan, a subsidiary of San Francisco-based Plumtree Software – a company that develops corporate portal software, bringing together content, applications, and services using an open architecture based on Web services.

Yumio holds a Ph.D. in business economics from Harvard University, where he specialized in incentive theory, and a BA in economics from Williams College.
