Adam Hertz has over 20 years experience as an executive and manager in the software and online service industries. He has extensive product, technical and operational experience, in such technologies as distributed systems, databases, text indexing, and information retrieval. Prior to joining Technorati, Adam was Vice President of Product Development at Ofoto, Eastman Kodak's online digital photography service for consumers. At Ofoto, he led the development and network operations teams, helping the service scale to unprecedented levels of usage and reliability. Previously, Adam was president and CEO of Contact Networks, an early pioneer in the field of permission-based personal information sharing. Earlier he was Vice President of Engineering with Excite@Home; his other experience includes positions at General Magic, NeXT, ON Technology, and Lotus. Adam's blog is To Wish For Impossible Things.
