James is an Account Director for Inceptor Inc, a leading SEM firm in the US and beyond. James has worked in the search engine space for 5+ years and has worked with many of the different types of search (be in PPC, Paid Inclusion or Organic). James' responsibilities for Inceptor are to design strategies for existing and future clients and to match objectives and requirements with the different types of search engines, keywords, creatives and bidding tactics. James is also well versed in the tracking of search and helps companies develop an understanding of how to measure strategies that focus on branding through to sales and lead generation. During his 5 years in the search industry James has worked with leading names such as British Airways, B&Q;, Thomas Cook, Open University and the Reuters.
James is very active contributor to the search industry writing for both Pay Per Click Analyst and for the Chartered Institute of Marketing's 'What's New In Marketing' (WNIM). James has authored a book 'Search Marketing Strategies' that will be on the shelves by late Q3 '05 and is an active speaker at many conferences in both the UK and US.
James received a BA (Hons) in Business Administration and Economics from the University College Northampton and a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma (DipM) from South Bank University in London.
