Laura Thieme founded Bizresearch in June of 1997. Bizresearch provides search engine marketing, tracking and ROI analysis services for retailers, Fortune 500 companies, and service-based companies throughout the United States and overseas.
Prior to founding Bizresearch, Ms. Thieme worked for American Electric Power (AEP) in Columbus, Ohio, and USAID/Deloitte & Touche in St. Petersburg, Russia. She has a degree in Russian Studies from The Ohio State University, where she graduated in 1993.
Ms. Thieme has been featured in Business First, Investors Business Daily, Columbus Dispatch, Columbus Business Today, The Daily Reporter, Small Business News-Columbus, SearchDay, and SearchEnginewatch.com.
She presents to industry peers at Search Engine Strategies conferences in both the United States and United Kingdom. Presentations include "Measuring & Tracking Success (ROI)", "Marketing Database Driven Web Sites", and "Shopping Search Engines". Ms. Thieme also makes frequent presentations to vertical industry associations, local chambers, and technology organizations, a couple of which have been featured on government cable television.
