He's been doing search marketing since 2000, and has guided successful projects for clients of all sizes and budgets. Matt's emphasis is on traffic acquisition via organic rankings, social media marketing, and local search. At Marchex, Matt conducts and manages SEO campaigns for clients via its TrafficLeader (www.trafficleader.com) subsidiary and is also involved in SEO on Marchex's internal sites.
Matt began speaking on the Search Engine Strategies Conference circuit in 2006. He's a columnist for SearchEngineLand.com, a contributor to SearchEngineGuide.com, and a frequent contributor to several SEO- and SEM-related blogs and discussion forums. Matt also writes the Small Business SEM (www.smallbusinesssem.com) blog.
