Jay Middleton brings with him a wealth of search and digital online marketing experience, both on the agency and client side. At Adobe, Jay has been tasked with building a world class global search marketing program and infrastructure from the ground up. Prior to coming to Adobe, Jay managed over 100 search programs for Fortune 1000 clients at Fathom Online, a SEM service provider. Clients he managed crossed many verticals and included Covad Communications, Sprint, Polaroid, Cisco, Siebel Systems, Fisher Investments, AvalonBay Properties, Dunkin' Donuts, PlanetOut Inc., philosophy cosmetics and many more. He also worked closely with top advertising agencies including Organic, Genex, Harte-Hanks, Butler, Shine, Stern and Partners, Starcom, Responsys and many others. Search campaigns under his management received the top honor as the 2006 Mixx Awards "Best Search Marketing Campaign of the Year" and also received first runner-up honors at the 2005 Ad Tech Awards for "Best Search Marketing Strategy/Campaign". Prior to working at Fathom Online, Jay had a diverse career working in the Print Production & Graphic Design industry for Xerox, Oracle, Broderbund/Riverdeep, Netcentives and Sony Pictures Studios. Prior to that, Jay was a full-time touring professional musician, something he still enjoys doing on his weekends. Jay received a B.A. from Stanford University and lives in Northern California with his wife and two children.
