Mike Grehan, Editor e-marketing-news
Mike Grehan, CEO of Smart Interactive, is a sought after speaker in Europe and the U.S. and noted author and search engine marketing expert whose contributions to the industry have been well documented in multiple books including his most recent 2nd edition, "Search Engine Marketing."
He is perhaps best known for the unprecedented access he has been granted to interview and peek under the hood at many of the major search engines. He has insight into their search algorithms and a technical understanding like no one else in the industry. Danny Sullivan, editor of Search Engine Watch, readily refers to Grehan as a "top notch search engine marketer."
Grehan was Managing Director of one of the UK's longest established Internet Marketing Consultancies. He moved into advertising and marketing in the late 80's. He has worked for and with advertising agencies and marketing organizations on both sides as vendor and client.
Grehan studied marketing at the University of Northumbria in Newcastle, U.K.
