Rafael Jiménez

Rafael Jiménez is the General Director for Yahoo! Mexico. He joined the company in September 2005 and is currently managing all business operations in the country. Rafael also led the successful launch of TeRespondo, which serves as Yahoo! Search Marketing's business in Mexico.
Prior to joining Yahoo! Mexico, Rafael founded 401 Interactivo, an interactive communications company. The company's solid reputation led to several mergers, eventually becoming Ogilvy Interactive Mexico. During his five-year tenure at Ogilvy, he held several key positions including General Management, and Strategic and Creative Director. The interactive agency also won an unprecedented number of accolades under Rafael's management, including the first “Effie” ever awarded in Latin America for an Internet-only campaign. Previous to 401 interactivo, Rafael spent two years with Softtek, one of the leading systems integrator companies in Mexico.
Rafael has a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems from Tecnologico de Monterrey. He lives in Mexico City with his daughter, Sofia and his son, Emilio.
