Gonzalo Alonso joined Google in 2005 to launch and manage the company's local operation in Mexico. He is responsible for all of Google Mexico operations and a local team that supports accounts in Mexico as well as a number of regional accounts. Before working at Google, Gonzalo was the Sales Director for T1MSN, a Mexican joint venture formed by Microsoft and Telmex, and prior to that he worked for Mercadolibre in Latin America and Microsoft Mexico in executive marketing roles. Gonzalo holds a Communications degree from UNUM in Mexico City and is also a founding member of IAB Mexico and Vice President of the Marketing and Advertising Committee of AMIPCI.
