Jamie Crouthamel President & CEO Performics
James (Jamie) Crouthamel led Performics to its market leading position with a unique vision and a comprehensive approach to online customer acquisition. Since founding Performics in 1998, Crouthamel has directed dramatic company growth and developed a position as a highly respected online marketing expert. Performics was acquired by DoubleClick for more than $58 million in June 2004 and now operates as the Performance-Based Marketing Division of DoubleClick.
Crouthamel was awarded Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Information Technology in Chicagoland in 2004 and was named to Crain's 40 Under 40 list. He has also been named one of the 'Top 100' most influential people in technology in the Midwest. Crouthamel is regarded as an industry thought leader and is a frequent speaker in online marketing, with extensive expertise in affiliate marketing, search engine marketing, performance-based marketing, eCommerce and online advertising.
Performics has twice been named one of the fastest-growing companies in the nation by Deloitte & Touche and was named fastest-growing company in Chicagoland in 2004. His firm bears the prestigious designation of being an Overture Strategic Provider. Performics is an active member of Shop.org, the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), the Direct Marketing Association (DMA), the Network Advertising Initiative's E-mail Service Provider Coalition and the Search Engine Marketing Professional Association (SEMPO). Crouthamel is also a member of the Economic Club of Chicago.
Mr. Crouthamel earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, a Master of Engineering Management from Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering and completed his undergraduate studies at Drexel University. Crouthamel and his wife Pamela live in the Chicago area with their son Anthony and twins Nicholas and Jayne.
