As president and chief executive officer of Sandy Bay Networks, Michael Sabourin leads an executive team of experienced professionals dedicated to bringing the company's comprehensive e-marketing solutions to clients.
Prior to joining Sandy Bay Networks, Sabourin consulted for QuickBuy, Inc. as chief operating officer and vice president of business development, where he was responsible for directing the business strategy and developing the commercial potential of the e-commerce company.
Previously, Sabourin was president of Larry Miller Productions, Inc. (LMP), a large Boston-based media agency. During his 18-month tenure with LMP, Sabourin was instrumental in transforming the company from a marketing communications firm into a strategic Internet communications provider. The strategy Sabourin set for LMP led to the sale of the company to iXL Holdings, raising the market value of LMP to more than $25 million after the iXL initial public offering in June 1999.
Sabourin also developed a high-technology media agency business model for Convergent Media Systems, where he was responsible for growing revenues of the Media Agency division from $2 million to $20 million in less than three years.
Prior to joining Convergent Media Systems, Sabourin held senior management positions at EDS and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Sabourin honed his leadership skills during his service in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he also received Advanced Communications training.
