Blue Speck Media is a financial digital consultancy that owns and operates a number of financial websites in-house. We strive to enable our clients to find the highest quality customers/ leads for their business by using marketing methods such as SEO, optimised email marketing strategy and offline social media marketing.

What Are Some Of Your Challenges?

Blue Speck Media is always looking at how to promote and grow content on websites in an ethical manner. The sessions on advanced link building and "Best Practices in Offshore Outsourcing for Digital Marketing" were particularly helpful.

What was your favorite session from SES London 2010?

Link Building - Methods and Risks with Jim Boykin. Jim brings real energy to a subject that could otherwise be very dull!

What were some of the things you learned from SES London 2010 that you were able to use for your business?

There are no shortcuts. Get good quality links from good quality content. This message is not new, but listening to some of the methods others were using gave us new ideas as to how to promote some of our sites.

What were some of the results you saw after making those changes?

We refocused a number of sites and increased the quality of the content and internal linking structures. The direct result was that these sites started to gain rankings placements a month after the changes.

What sessions do you hope to attend this year?

"Over 50 Killer Internet Marketing Tools To Measure Your Online Marketing Strategies" (I am sure Jim will be on form again) and "Ads in a Quality Score World". We are looking to increase our PPC activity this year.
