David M. Adler, Esq. has developed a practice focused on the legal needs of business entities and offers services in three primary areas: Intellectual Property Law, Corporate & Business Law and Information Technology and Ecommerce. In addition to his private practice, Mr. Adler is Corporate Counsel for Bacon's Informaiton, Inc., the premier provider of informational support to business executives and individuals employed in a range of disciplines, including public relations, investor relations, marketing, corporate communications, and business intelligence. Bacon's counts most of the Fortune 500 companies among its client base.
He received his law degree from the DePaul University College of Law in 1997 where he wrote for the DePaul Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. He received a double Bachelor of the Arts in English and in History from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana in 1994.
Outside the practice of law, Mr. Adler taught "Introduction to Ebusiness" and "Legal Aspects of the Arts" courses in the Arts, Entertainment & Media Management Department of Columbia College Chicago. He also currently chairs the Chicago Bar Association's Start-up and Entrepreneurial Ventures Subcommittee and is a frequent speaker on Chicago Bar Association Intellectual Property panels and CLE seminars.
