Matt is the Co-Founder of XSEO Ltd. a search engine optimisation and marketing company. XSEO run training courses and seminars on the subject, and we speak regularly at conferences both locally and nationally. Matt also writes for a search engine blog.
Matt developed his expertise in the "good old days" of the mid 90's, when he was involved in the electronics industry. It soon became apparent that there was more to internet marketing that just having a web site. In 2002 XSEO was born. Since then it has enjoyed an unbroken top position in the main search engines (Google, Yahoo and MSN) for its prime search term targets. The XSEO team have worked on some very significant projects, including Virgin Cars, Innkeepers Lodge, Ceridian, Wesleyan Insurance, Reflex and Virgin Holidays to list only a few.
In 2004 when Microsoft decided to take on Google and Yahoo by introducing their own search engine, Matt was the only SEO from the UK invited to Microsoft's Redmond, Seattle Campus to join their Search Engine Champs team. The Search Champs now meet on a regular basis at Redmond and Matt continues to be part of it.
Because of the in-depth subject knowledge and expertise XSEO has established, the company also provides research and expertise as an expert witness in Internet Marketing related legal cases.
